Dr.Blocker — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

Dr.Blocker is a browser extension that blocks ads, trackers, cookie pop-ups, and on-page distractions. This policy explains what data it does and does not handle.

Data we collect

None. Dr.Blocker does not collect, store on our servers, sell, or transmit any of your personal information or browsing data. We do not run any servers that receive your data, and we have no analytics or tracking of our own.

Data the extension processes on your device

To block ads and trackers, the extension necessarily reads the addresses of network requests your browser makes and the content of pages you visit, and it reads the URL of your active tab to apply your per-site settings. All of this happens locally, inside your own browser. None of it is ever sent to us or to any third party.

Data stored on your device

Your settings (which features are on, your per-site on/off choices, your "blocked element" selections, and counters) are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. You can clear them at any time by removing the extension.

Filter lists

The ad/tracker filter lists are bundled inside the extension package and run locally. The extension does not load remote code.

Permissions

The extension requests broad site access (<all_urls>) and related permissions because an ad blocker must run on every site you visit to be effective. These permissions are used only for blocking, as described above.
